Twitter Makes Policy Changes on Data Interactions

Twitter Policy Change On Data

Time To Reprogram Your Twitter Automation’s

Twitter has announced that they are altering their policies. Specifically policies that govern the way people and 3rd party applications can interact with their data. Previously you were able to use a 3rd party application to push a tweet from your twitter account to other applications or websites like Facebook, your Gmail account or even Evernote. It appears twitter is still allowing interactions with its data but has revised the policy so applications and services will need to re-engineer their applications to work within the new framework. Most likely you will be spending more time actually on twitter as a result.

Many functions being used in applications today will not work later this month (September 2012).
